USEPA Enforcement Initiatives
Eric Carlson, EPA Region III
Eric Carlson will discuss EPA’s current enforcement priorities, “hot” enforcement issues that should interest AWMA members and some of the Congressional personalities that may impact these priorities.
Eric Carlson is the Congressional/State Liaison Officer in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the Environmental Protection Agency. He is involved with the many important roles EPA provides in enforcement, air quality, brownfield development and the future of the region’s wastewater treatment system improvements. He has served in various positions with the federal government in Pennsylvania and last serving as Senior Legislative Specialist in the Office of the Chief, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, before joining EPA.
The luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 8, at
Piccolo Mondo in Greentree, PA beginning at 11:30 am. You can register by

program is $15 for members, $20 for non-members and $5 for students. If

Coming from the Airport Area:
Take the Parkway West (Highway 376), towards Pittsburgh. Get off at the Greentree exit. At the end of the exit, turn left onto Greentree Road. Go to the very next traffic light, and turn left onto Mansfield Avenue. Travel down Mansfield Avenue to the second traffic light, turn right onto Holiday Drive. At the top of Holiday Drive, turn left onto Andersen Drive. Proceed to the second building on the right. This is building #7, Foster Plaza. We are located on the first floor of the building. Signs are clearly posted curbside.
Coming from Downtown or from the North Hills area:
Travel through the Fort Pitt Tunnels, onto the Parkway West (Highway 376). Get off at the Greentree/Crafton exit. Stay in the far left lane, exiting towards Crafton. At the end of the exit, turn left onto Mansfield Avenue. Travel down Mansfield Avenue to the second traffic light, turn right onto Holiday Drive. At the top of Holiday Drive, turn left onto Andersen Drive. Proceed to the second building on the right. This is building #7, Foster Plaza. We are located on the first floor of the building. Signs are clearly posted curbside.
